Meet the SOB Team!

Meet the Owner, Jocelyn!

Hello! I’m Jocelyn, the owner of Stretchd Out Buffalo LLC. (Oh and the guy standing next to me is my husband, read more about him below!) First, let me thank you for showing interest in improving your body’s movement! Movement is one of the most powerful forms of medicine, and I’m thrilled that you’re here to let us at Stretchd Out Buffalo help you discover that for yourself!

A bit about my background: I never expected to end up in this field, but about six years ago, I found myself immersed in the world of stretching. After earning my Bachelor’s in Sport and Exercise Science, I went on to study to become a Physical Therapy Assistant. It was during this time that I started working with people through stretching. Combining my knowledge from both my athletic background and education, I began to realize just how crucial movement—particularly stretching and mobility—is for overall well-being. In fact, I believe it’s the foundation for everything you want to achieve in life. If you’re restricted in your movement, it’s hard to feel truly free and happy.

That insight sparked the idea to create a business that helps people move better, while also educating others on how movement truly is the best medicine. Fast forward six years, and here we are with Stretchd Out Buffalo! While the name isn’t my absolute favorite, the logo sums it up perfectly. Let’s face it—there’s nothing worse than being restricted in your movement or constantly dealing with pain!

Before starting Stretchd Out Buffalo, I gained experience in a variety of roles including Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Assistant, Gymnastics Coach, Personal Trainer, Exercise Physiologist, Spin and Group Fitness Instructor. I’m also certified in OSHA, LifeStretch, Yoga, Spin, SportStretch/SportStretch Flow, and I’m a Pain-Free Performance Specialist (PPSC).

Stretchd Out Buffalo has allowed me to work with an amazing range of clients, including The Harlem Globetrotters, professional football players, NFL prospects, Hall of Fame athletes, Collegiate Athletes and UFC fighters (just to name a few!). But the best part? We work with everyone, from athletes to your grandma! Our mission is to teach people of all ages how movement can improve their lives, and we’re always striving to expand and share that knowledge.

I can’t wait to continue growing Stretchd Out Buffalo and bringing you along on this journey. We promise to always be a place filled with positive energy and dedicated to helping you become the best version of yourself!
